If I understand the question correctly ...

I have always worked on performance research, so never reasoned in terms of "folding".
But for the practical side I always integrated the easy disassembly of the two parts of the bike ...
For example, the red bike above is assembled using a simple pin released by loosening the handlebars.

I have a picture of the thing, but I have to find it.
I will post it. I love pictures...

Laurent Dechenne, the inventor of the speculoos was Belgian...


Besides, when I took a step back from the middle of the recumbent bike, we were more on big wheels for their benefit in performance and behavior on degraded surfaces ...




And since I came back, in many projects or realisations, I only see little wheels !

Is this a new trend? Or demand/need is going towards more utility bikes ?
